With our wide variety of contact lenses in South Bay, you're sure to find a lens that fits your unique visual and lifestyle needs and that is comfortable to wear.
When you are fitted with contact lenses at the Westchester Eyecare Center, we start with a basic visual exam to determine what your vision correction needs are. Then, we take special measurements of the curvature and diameter of the cornea, so we can know what contact lens fit you require. If you're new to contact lenses, our seasoned contact lens technicians can teach you how to put your contacts in, take them out, and clean them. You'll leave our office with a trial pair of contact lenses and come back in about a week to check up on how they're doing. If they're working for you and you've achieved optimal vision, you can order boxes of your chosen contacts. If you would like to try a different brand or prescription, we can continue to work with you to find the best fit for your needs.
At the Westchester Eyecare Center, we can help both pre-teens who are ready for the responsibility of contact lens insertion, removal, and care find the contact lenses that are right for them, in addition to providing contact lens services for adults. When you work with our experienced optometrists, you can trust that your vision is in good hands.
Remember that after the initial fitting process is over and you've ordered your contacts, it's up to you to keep your contacts clean and your eyes healthy. Remove your contacts before you go to sleep, unless you have special lenses that are approved for nighttime wear, and clean them daily with an approved contact lens solution. Give your eyes a break and wear your glasses periodically so your corneas get the chance to breathe. By taking good care of your eyes and your contacts, you can prevent problems including corneal ulcers and eye infections.
